My name is Mike J Quinn and I have been managing on the frontlines for over 35 years and I am going to show you how anyone can be a manager and be successful if you follow some basic rules for getting people to do things they are supposed to be doing. Right now you are undoubtedly seeing a lack of leadership in the industry today. Gone are the days when people were trained to be great leaders and so to are the days of having a desirable workplace. What you are experiencing every day at work is a lack of leadership training. This is not because the companies don’t want great leaders. It is because the companies don’t want to spend thousands of dollars training you only to lose you to a competitor and have all those training dollars leave with them, benefiting some company that didn’t pay for the training.

I have worked for some of the largest companies in America and I have also worked with solo or family based businesses. I know there are some major differences in how you go about your job between these two types of employers and I can help you navigate them as sometimes you will move from one company to another, and you may experience the differences yourself. I can help you make sense of these things.

I have also worked in Non- frontline businesses like offices and warehouses, so I know that there are a lot of things that are unique to the frontlines that you just won’t get from some of those leadership materials, so I understand the needs of frontline leaders today and I won’t bore you with useless information that doesn’t pertain to you.
